Wanna Win a Wii? And Wii Fit Plus? Yes. You Do.

I am either really out of shape or the new Wii Fit PlusTM is super awesome, because I just spent forty or so minutes on the thing and I am all sweaty and tired. Come to think of it, maybe both of those things are true.

Regardless, I know that I had fun. The Wii Fit Plus is the new upgrade to the Wii FitTM. Nintendo made some really smart changes to the Wii Fit with this addition.

Wii Fit Plus makes it so much easier to actually use the Wii Fit to exercise. Wii Fit has always been fun, but until now, it's been difficult to put together any kind of real workout with it. With the new Wii Fit Plus you can create your workouts ahead of time without having to stop and set up a new exercise between each set.

You can read more about what I think about the new Wii Fit Plus in my review.

You may also have read about the super fun time my friends and I had at the Wii Fit Plus party that Nintendo threw for me and some of my friends late last year. Well, if you didn't get to come to that (and, truly, I wish you could have), you do get to participate by entering to win a WiiTM! And Wii Fit Plus! With the Balance BoardTM!

Yes, that's right. I'm giving away a Wii and a Wii Fit Plus game with Balance Board to one of my beloved readers. In order to enter, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me How will you fit some fit in with Wii Fit Plus from Nintendo? Will you snowball fight your way to a thinner stomach? Will you set up a daily yoga regimen? Will your fat little MiiTM guilt you into going running outside?

Make sure you enter by 11:59 p.m. eastern time on April 15, 2010. I will choose a winner by using a random number generator on April 16th. Make sure when you leave your comment that you give me an email address so I can contact you if you win. I will email the winner, who will then have 48 hours to get back to me to claim their prize.

Contest is open to U.S. residents 18 years or older. Much as I would like to let my mom, my sister, and my cousins enter, my relatives can't win. Nintendo employees are also ineligible to enter. Sorry. Judgment of the winner is final and cannot be disputed. If the first winner does not get in touch with me within 48 hours of my sending a notification email, I will use a random number generator to pick another person and so on.

Good luck!!

Honesty Clause: While I have not been compensated for this review and giveaway, Nintendo did give me a copy of the Wii Fit Plus software for myself at no charge. Nintendo has given me the Wii and Wii Fit Plus mentioned here, and I am giving them away. Furthermore, I am a Nintendo Brand Enthusiast and was invited to host a Wii Fit Plus Party for myself and my friends. Which I did.

I think it would be motivating for me to have the feedback from the wii; also, I think that using the Wii Fit would be perfect for those rainy days when I don't want to go outside. I would probably use it in the evenings because I am not a morning person. :)
Thanks!

I would use it for yoga and skateboarding. I've never tried skateboarding and won't ever try unless I'm in the privacy of my own home. Who knows what else I would try if I had it? Maybe hula hoop? The possibilities are endless.

I'd love to get into yoga and with the wii fit plus, I feel as if I would be more interested and more inclined to put together an exercise routine that I can change often to suit my mood/needs as I can do with the wii.

I've been coveting one of these. Hello, naptime! So I suppose that means exchanging my Twitter/blog reading habit for some Wii time, no? :)

Tech Savvy Mama said...

Oh I most definitely would fit in a Wii workout with the kids on a regular basis! I loved the yoga routine that I tried and the bird game really worked my arms in a way where I was quite embarrassed that I was sore afterwards. While my fat little Mii wouldn't be a big motivator at the beginning, seeing it deflate would! Now that I provided full disclosure, I hope I win the Wii!

I'm recovering from a neck injury and can't do my beloved thai kickboxing for exercise, so I'd use the Wii to workout and (hopefully) stop my waistline from continuing to expand. Yoga sound Wiinderful. (yes, I did just say "Wiinderful." This is why I'm not in advertising.)

This would be totally awesome not for me- but for Joey. We need him to have positive experiences with physical activity, and we've been wondering if combining movement with computer games- nice, predictable, learnable computer games like he loves- would be a huge opportunity and help.

Think I can get him to do yoga?

I wasn't going to enter bc I got my own for Christmas (thanks hubby!). I want to win it for my almost-79 year old dad. He used to play a lot of golf but can't anymore bc of shoulder injuries. He's hard of hearing so he doesn't get out much and he can't afford to join a gym (fixed income). He's got high blood pressure and is a 25 year survivor of lung cancer. He's really interested in the Wii but can't afford it.

I would LOVE to be able to surprise him with one so he can get a bit more exercise and maybe stay around a while longer to watch his only grandson grow.

I have a serious love-hate relationship with Wii Fit (stemming mostly from how I dislike being weighed so often), but if I had the new system I promise I'd use it. (P.S.: Nintendo, have you addressed the whole weighing-often thing?)
